CamStudio is free (yes, FREE!) screen recording software. "CS is able to record all screen and audio activity on your computer and create industry-standard AVI video files!"
This is great when you want to actually show someone how to do something on your computer! Simply click record, do what you need to do on your computer, hit stop and it automatically becomes a video! SO many ways you can use this in the classroom...i.e., homework demonstration videos, tutorial videos, etc.
The following is just an example of me showing how to do something in Microsoft Word. You literally 1. click the record button, 2. demonstrate, and 3. save! And it's FREE!! You will probably have to click on "full screen" to see it better.
