Google - Reading Levels and Languages
You can customize your search in Google by reading levels, languages, etc.
1. Go to Google. Click on "Advanced Search" to the right of the search window.
2. Enter your desired key word(s). Click on the drop down menu for reading levels (basic, intermediate, advanced), languages, etc. Click on "Advanced Search". (Click for larger image)
3. The results page will show only pages with your desired information!! You can click the links beside the bar graph at the top of the results page to switch to a different reading level.

Tips and Tricks
I must be on a Google "roll" this week! : ) A friend of mine, a fellow CSISD Tech Integration Specialist sent this to me this morning and it was too good not to share. Click the following link to find and print free classroom posters from Google. It would be great to have these in classrooms, labs and even by your teacher computer! Full of tips and tricks on improving search results and using popular Google products such as Google Earth, etc.

Tile Windows
When you want to view two windows at once on your computer desktop, do the following.
1. Right click on the bar at the bottom of your screen.
2. Choose Tile Windows Vertically or Tile Windows Horizontally.
Now you can see both screens. This is good when researching information from the Internet.
